In motherhood, life’s greatest tragedy is the loss of a child.  So, it is with great sadness and deepest sympathy that we announce the passing of the son of our writer, Amy Hillis, from Ohio, USA.  Today there will be no posts on the blog in memory of David, also known as Captain Snuggles.

You are in our thoughts today, little David.

“The light of a distant star continues to reach the Earth long after
the star itself is gone.”

We invite our readers to visit Amy’s blog today, Transplanted Thoughts, where you can read about the courageous, caring and tireless mother she is, and you can post your thoughts, prayers or words for her and her family directly.

We will resume posts tomorrow on the blog in Norway.
